>>3912015>APS-CIf I had the disposable income for it, the only APS cameras that would even be interesting is the Sigma sd Quattro (and the Quattro-H) simply because it has the Foveon sensor.
Fuji and Sony have one big major bummer for me, and that's the fact that they have a less than exciting resolution increase over 20mp MFT sensors.
The only appeal that an FF camera would really have would be 40-61mp bodies that really offer resolutions for high amounts of cropping or very high resolution prints/products.
If OMDS makes a ≥24mp sensor body in 2022, then I'll very much be interested in getting it.
But ultimately it's because I have investment into Olympus lenses, and the fact that the telephoto stuff is just great on MFT.
APS-C is just paying ×2-3 the price of MFT lenses for similar overall performance in mediocre or just embarrassing body. The Canon M50, Fujifilm X-T4 or Sony A6600 (or whatever their current one is) is pricey, uncomfortable to use, and in the case of the Canon, lacks anything decent in terms of lenses.
Sony and Canon want you to get a FF body instead.
A Sigma fp L with 2-3 primes is compact, light, well designed and has the 61mp sensor and great colour science, perfect for a system that can supplement a MFT setup for certain things.
