I hold it pretty much like how they do on their explanation video, if I remember right. Like the fag in pic related. So not "perpendicular" to my waist, but rather, on the front. It also prevents bumping into walls, doors and shit when traveling. Unless you walk straight into a wall nose first, that is,, but then you'd have brain problems to solve first.
One would think that walking with the camera in that position would make it shake too much, especially with a zoom lens, but unless you're running, it's actually peak comfy movements and your camera is like on a cloud, no harsh feeling against the leg. Though I don't use hugeass zooms for shooting burds, just standard ones.
