Rent a simple setup, go shoot a weekend, then try the other brand the next weekend.
Make sure to read manuals before you go so you know how everything works. I was disgusted with the menu of my a7ii, for example, until I figured out it could be completely customized. Every camera has quirks, and the manual will help you gind them.
