Well, I couldn't get setup like I'd want to get setup. The three zoomed-out images are from a 500mm f/6.3 mirror lens by itself. EXP 1/4000 and ISO 800. The terrible zoomed in pic is the 500mm lens with a 2x teleconverter and 68mm of extension tubes on it. EXP 1/1000 and ISO 3200. Getting it to focus with that setup requires a good bit of time, which I didn't have. Even with a tripod it is pretty difficult. It needs to be off a tripod and sandbagged to a table. The DOF is razor thin and the focusing mechanism becomes super touchy at that point.
