On a holiday he was being sour because I wanted to stop and shoot stuff, complaining how it's not possible to get good enough photos of the sights anyway. He took his camera along but only took some snaps on his phone. To me it seemed somewhere along the way he hit the self critical part so hard it broke his passion and left him with some bitter baggage he still hasn't dealt with.
