>>3959714>When you buy very cheap ff lenses, you're outright outclassed. Possibly in the extreme corners with cheap FF glass, but your m43 glass has to be twice as sharp MTF-wise to match the FF system's performance. In the center that's not going to happen unless you are comparing top-of-the-line to absolute shit.
>RF lens needs to go down to f2.8 to finally get to the level where Olympus is at f1.8. >a FF f/1.2 lens has more vignetting than a m43 f/1.8 lens>t. GeniusLet's look at this another way: equivalent exposure occurs at f/3.5 on the RF lens. That means if the RF shooter only has to stop down to f/2.8 to clear the vignetting, he's still ahead. And if he can live with the vignetting, he can open up to f/1.2, and there is no equivalent m43 lens in existence.
>Also check the link and look at the corner sharpness of 25mm f1.8, and compare it with Canon's. First: pic related.
Second: if we ignore pic related...
Canon Extreme Corner @ f/1.2: 3074
Olympus CENTER resolution NEVER breaks 3k. So why are you making a sharpness comparison? Are you arguing for FF now?
>On ff, you need to close to at least f4 to get this.Did you get confused and swap the Canon and Olympus lenses in your mind? At f/4 extreme corner the Canon is 3571. Again, the Olympus never breaks 3k any where in the imaging circle at any aperture.
