>>3910045The reason so-called MF sucks is that it's bigger with no real advantage, because you're forced to raise the ISO to compensate for stopping down to get an usable picture in most situations. So even in low light it sucks. And there isn't a lot of lenses you can use with it.
Now, real medium format digital is actually cool, specially in monochrome versions. You don't just get tons of resolution, you have a lot of lenses to pick from that you can use as intended (no crop) and you can get camera movements. That said, I think at that point you're probably better off just shooting 4x5 film or larger.
