The focusing screen is the same as in any modern camera with the same problems, and installing a split-prism one involves dirty hacks and breaks AF point selection. If I wanted to use many vintage F-mount lenses for some reason, I'd rather swap my D750 to an A7III - sure, I'd have to dick around with adapters, but I'd have focus peaking and IS.
