I’ve gotten down the concepts of light metering and DOF but my struggle now seems to be taking pics without a tripod. For example on my 500cm and SWC if I set the EV to 8 (roughly what my meter gets for a well lit inside room) my fastest possible exposure time drops to 1/30 which is impossible to not get some amount of blur on the pic from the exposure being so long.
Do I basically have to bite the bullet and buy a tripod? I was hoping a tripod wouldn’t be necessary for basically any pics not in direct sunlight.
Also I sent off 3 rolls to be professionally developed and scanned so I can compare to my homebrew shit.
