I'm genuinely curious. I'm an outsider to social media, so I ask in terms of seeking education.
Are you trying to build a portfolio so that you can turn professional, or continue to build a client base?
Or is this more of a social approval thing? Building followers to maintain an image and lifestyle. Please not that I am not attacking that viewpoint or calling it shallow. I feel like that's the most common critique of social media. Even I as an outsider comprehend that there's not much harm in boosting your own social prestige if you're successful at it.
I'm noticing a lot of you are new to instagram and have small portfolios and follower counts, which is why I ask. What is your goal?
