Compare equivalent canikons vs mft/pentacks/Fuji/sony, you’ll notice that the canikon cameras miss features reserved for higher tier cameras and even the flagships require expansion adapters for features that are standard from smaller manufacturers.
Nikon is going to fuck up mirrorless by pulling the same bullshit they do with their d3x00/d5x00, they’ll offer some gimped bullshit that can’t compete with a deprecated a6000 and an outdated flagship with less features than an Olympus OMD. Canon will be right behind in launching some absolutely fucking horrific abomination of its garbage sensors with fuckhuge bodies that still lose out to Panasonic in video because canon decided marketing was more important than listening to customers ten years ago.
Canon and Nikon are fucking trash. They’ve been playing catch up with mirrorless for more than five years because marketing is more important to them than contributing to photography in any meaningful way. The only reason they aren’t dead is because people invested in their lenses.
Pentax(ricoh) makes better built conventional slrs at every price point with more advanced technologies than Canikon in 2018 and even has the amazing GR to boot. Canikon btfo by pentacks, let that sink in. Fuck Canikon and their Jewish m.o.
