>>4154619it's just the boomer aesthetic. imagine shooting on negative color film for years, maybe on occasion getting to use glorious slide film (and probably messing it up) and then digital arrives. if you wander into the forums where people are still using old DSLRs, or CCD sensors, you'll see the same aesthetic, even on daily life stuff.
no different than millennial obsession with film-sim aesthetics where because we grew up with digital color, now we all want desaturated and low contrast.
