>>4014079I’ve only had it a few days, and I have come from a gen 1 A7s, and I’ve had the 150-500 (200-600 sold out right before I bought this and reverted to full price) a week longer than the A7iv, I haven’t gotten much of a chance before that to get into wildlife shooting much (other than with a 200mm manual prime). From my experience I can say it is life changing and amazing from what I came from. Tracking in AFC with animal eye and bird eye AF makes this so much easier. With it turned off the eye will usually be missed and focused on something else closer in whatever focus type you’ve chosen or you have to make a real tiny box and position it over the eye. I am still getting used to the flip out screen, since I used to look down/waist level shoot a lot with tilt screen and that’s totally different with a flip screen. When you have a clear view like this it’s easy and goes straight and tracks. Hardest part is missing sudden bird in flight off a group of birds because I can’t find it while @ 500 while I looking at other birds and it takes off and I suddenly try to follow it.
