It would be equal in perimeter to a 7.5x7.5 square, which is exactly one and a half times larger than our starting point.
You further prove my point with the milk analogy. If you were to take the dimensions of the 500ml bottle and compare it to the 2L bottle, design choices aside, you'd find it's roughly double the size yet holds 4x the volume. Thus, increasing the dimensions of an object increases it's area by a factor of 2.
