Although I find myself not liking the Sony E or FE mounts, I think that an A7 might actually be a good choice for me. I could buy a whole set of lenses for my existing digital camera, /or/ I could use these lenses I already own on it manually: The a7 I can buy is just $800.

50 f/1.4 - Konica Hexanon AR
28 f/2.8 - MC Auto CPC Phase 2 CCT
70-200 - Vivitar Series 1 70-200 f/4
Pancake - Konica Hexanon AR 40mm f/1.8
The a7 was largely designed for use with manual lenses, right? How do you think you would fair buying just the A7 body and using these lenses (and saving all that money compared to new lenses)?
And, in the future if I want AF lenses, I can use an LAEA4 for all the A-mount lenses that I'm totally okay with owning and using, and get that SLR speed autofocus I enjoy.
