Thank you all for the inputs
I got a shard of fresnel that was lying around at my local lab, which is enough to just focus properly on what I want
I simply cut out its shape on the protection cover that comes with the film cartridge and taped it. This way I believe it will be exactly where the instant film would be (or at least very close to it)
I'm gonna make up a holder so that I can easily place the instant film
Picrel is my improvised setup
Bottom image is the back fresnel in focus, and right image is how the same setup looks on the WLV of the camera (very unfocused)
>>4307526>the challenge with these things is always getting the film the correct distance so that the focusing is accurate.Exactly, it's really really close to where film would normally be but that small shift still makes a huge difference, see picrel
>>4307663aah got it. Yeah that's what I was talking about when I mentioned the fresnel etc.
But just taking out the fresnel from the top of the Mamiya and putting it on its back would still be misplaced
>>4307581>>4307635I'm happy to see more people experimenting with instant film, I love seeing techniques pushed to their limits
