You don't need to buy each product personally, but collate and condense some thorough research from other actual product reviews (videos and comments) and some educated speculation will go a long way.
Try to make each video episode that focuses on a specific piece of equipment (like a tripod episode, a fixed prime lens episode, a flash episode) and offer two to three price points with a product each.
>Destitute - You need the cheapest possible solution now and questionable quality is of no issue - Aliexpress/Local 2nd Hand Market App/DIY.>Poorfag - One wastes more money on replacing crap quality items than the next better one so you are willing to save up a little more. Essentiall, "Best Bang for Buck">Spendthrift - It's gotta be cheap, but it cant *look* or *seem* cheap. And it cannot break apart by sneezing on it. Rent and bills are paid and you have a little money lying around to spend on bottom tier goodstuff. If you can fit useful sponsored product placement into one of these tiers (You)'ll have video revenue coming your way. Please don't SquareShit this up. Avoid video sponsorship at all though if possible.

In keeping with the thread, I bought this off Amazon, ESDDI flash, and the gripe I have is that the settings are a bit of a labyrinth unless you know what the fuck you are doing.
The wireless trigger device has a dipswitch picker with four switches be set to one of four? channels, but the flash itself accepts up to 16, what the fuck. It could be a binary 4bit dip switch. And god help you if you forget to switch off the damn trigger, because it will eat away at th funny little "23A" size 12V battery anyway.
