Third higlight of this month so far was this photo. In it, I captured the relatively freshly repainted 263.002 locomotive, which got its very stylish factory paintjob back, as a homage to its past. This locomotive class was basically the very pinnacle of Czechoslovak engineering back in the 80's and this locomotive in particular was even sent to Bulgaria, for presentation rides and also in this very paintjob. Although in the end, bulgarians ended up ordering the much older Škoda 73E locomotives for their railways anyways. :P
In this photo the locomotive can be seen hauling the afternoon R 669 "Rožmberk" train from Plzeň to Brno, although a change of locomotives takes place in České Budějovice. Behind the first locomotive you can also see a diesel locomotive, specifically 754.021. She was being transported on this train to České Budějovice, to replace a broken diesel which works on the fast trains from České Budějovice to Český Krumlov.
