this cargo loading pier used to be "de-facto " open to public access where people can just drop by and enjoy the unobstructed view of the harbour & especially the beautiful sunset. Gaining traction and popularity among the citizens there was in increasing swamps of crowds going there for photo-oppotunities. It soon earned the nickname "instagram pier" and at that point you just know it's doomed. Earlier this year, after a reports of vandalism, trespassing and security disputes, it was closed to the public for good.
