Ignoring the troll aspect of this thread I think pentax this is an interesting conversation. I think they made a bet they could bridge the gap in size with making the KP their smallest DSLR and pushing off mirrorless for awhile which I thought was pretty cool at first last year.

On the other hand CanoNikon presumably are getting mirrorless and will get a ton of buzz with each release and helps undermine the KP and the FF K1 at the same time. I wonder what their next move will be. Their next unannounced camera will probably be their K3ii replacement which probably wont save the company.
