>>4318694It's hard to say what I think influences it, i'm really bad at reflection on my work, and so much of what I do is, not formulaic, but I guess outcome driven. I guess when it comes to my personal film work, I compare a lot of my flower and garden photography to my mother's work, trying to capture an idealised vision of what I see her style as. It's about capturing the flower fully but not in a way that exposes it's flaws I guess? Almost like photographing a woman as corny as that sounds.
