>>3328860Good thing I've been adding data like that to them over the last several years then.
>>3328868Thanks for the critique, good to know when someone feels a color-shift is going on. Nothing will ever be as spectacular as posted previously, the laws of nostalgia make sure of that.
>>3328884Oh yes, I'm really limited my location sharing these days. IG is ruining the earth quickly so I now just tag things like "Colorado" but nothing more detailed than that. I'm not a whore so I don't need to make money with social media by sharing every location, I live off of prints instead. Actual art buyers don't give a damn where it's shot, they just love the images.
As far as the Velvia 50 at twilight, those are the colors that the film captures. To me, they are far more purple and warm than twilight looks to my eyes but I like to leave the film as is and show its true unique rendering. I typically do those shots with no filters either, save for sometimes a 1 stop soft GND over the sky.
Thanks for the rest of the crit as well, always helpful. As far as drum scanning goes, you're welcome to send me film whenever. I just did four 4x5 sheets for a customer yesterday, I usually try to squeeze a drum in each week while I work on bookkeeping, emails, etc. At most, I would just hold onto your film for a week or two before scanning it if I'm really busy. You know how to find my email?
It's been a while since I've shot Ektar into the sun. Love the warm and soft flare from the 40 year old single-coated 75mm I have.
