Mostly simple and enjoyable setups - though that also makes me wonder: Are there professionals or at least hobbyists who take on "commissioned work" among their friends or acquaintances? The latter applies to me. Let's discuss camera segments and evolution.

The 6D has my love as it's a good edc, fuss-free and straightforward performer, lightweight, cheap, sturdy, programmable (Magic Lantern) enough to bug around with - it's a damn hot package.
I enjoy
- the DSLR cams for reportage/coverage/studio especially where flashguns become a necessity.
- the EVIL cams for portraiture, high dr or silent shutter shooting/bracketing.
- the Canons for their handiness and control.
- the A7 III for its rich, versatile features, photo,video/streaming capabilities at its compactness and price point.
- the ELAN 7NE for learning, fun, shit and giggles.
I'm not entirely happy where the camera market goes. The more modern and configurable the camera, the more cruel and immature I find the control; The simpler the camera, the more tiring and exhausting I happen to find technological limitations.
So I'm on the cusp of either doing everything by hand, which gives me a lot of technical control but exhausts me and distracts me from the action. Or to leave a lot to the camera, which often also allows for pictures that are more sophisticated technically or following the story/action, but on the other hand is more accidental and thus more risky to lose pics due to incorrect exposure or misfocusing.
I still really want to have the possibility for manual and direct correction with every auto control. I want the camera market to mainly develop a good control concept, with the introduction of features and auto controls.
