The thing that I like about vellus hair is that it's not generally considered to be something people want to see in a photo. There have been a small handful of pictures where I've managed to get it to come to the fore, and it fucks with what would normally be a desired smooth texture of the skin. Anything that trips up the established tropes of vanity portraiture can be fun to screw around with.
