>>3773351>Aperture is focal length divided by the diameterOk, so that gathers more light a full frame sensor with an f2 lens or a crop sensor with an f2 lens?
>Pixel densitySo how come a Sony a7riv, which has almost the same pixel density as a 90d, still has a whole stop better signal to noise ratio? Pic related
>If you shoot at the same iso but use equivalent lens apertures, then you'll blow highlights or crush blacksBecause iso is an arbitrary value, used to being whatever the pixel puts out up to a reference level. A smaller pixel that gathers less light needs more gain to reach the same level as a larger pixel, iso 100 on smaller pixels will be more gain than iso 100 on larger pixels.
>I shoot canon FFStill no proof, anon asked a simple request
>>3773357The only argument from full framers has been for more versatile equipment, you're the one that keeps bringing up the notion of "expensive" and that's why everyone is calling you a poor fag.
>>3773361You've still not given a reason as to how a centre crop from an a7riv is any different to using a crop camera.
And no, dpaf doesn't "mog" anything, Sony is still the best autofocus performance on the market, as literally any of the "what camera should I buy" YouTube videos clearly show, the A7iii, a9ii and a7riv are unsurpassed, even by the 1dx iii.
