Hey /p/, I am thinking about getting my first DSLR. I have been doing tons of research online, and think I will buy a full frame from the start to avoid the crop factor bs and to force myself to buy lenses since it will be a good investment. I know that mirrorless are usually lighter, faster, and are generally featuring newer technologies, but tradiotional DSLR have a multitude of lenses and much better battery life.
For DSLR, I'm thinking about getting a Canon 6D or a Nikon D750, and for mirrorless a Sony A7. What would you guys recommend and why? I want a camera that will cover everything from portrait, telephoto, landscape, and macro. I was told that you can get away buying a cheapish camera body if you buy good lenses since it's the lenses that matter.
