Canon handle shadow recovery absolutely terribly. You can't push exposure without purple blotches and grid patterns appearing everywhere.
Since you shoot in low light situations, you should know this already, instead of just denying it with some vague "bayer sensor" bullshit. Tell me, how do these look the same? These are extreme examples, but the point still holds in other scenarios as well.
