>>3374281The line to get into the rally was massive, stretching close to a quarter mile long, possibly longer. I got in line an hour before the rally was scheduled to start, and it took about a half hour to get in. Online it said that cameras with interchangeable lenses were not allowed into the event, even the security monitoring the lines said that I might not be able to get in ( I had an a7r with a canon 24-70 and a a6300 with a stock lens). As I got into the convention center there were about 20 lines for metal detectors and secret service/police searching bags. I got up to the front, and they just made sure that the lens was a real operating lens. They just turned the camera on and checked it out, I was informed that there were hollowed out lenses people would store guns inside, and that's why they don't like people having large lenses in the event. But I was able to get in no problem with a relatively large lens
