>>4259996>rolling shutter existsYes, and that's major because canon's claimed framerates are all based on 12 bit lossless raw electronic shutter mode otherwise you have the same 10-14 FPS speeds as cheap nikons and the number differences no longer sound significant. So canon is fast with rolling shutter in stills or the same as everyone else. The only losers here are people who thought canon was really that fast, and people who bought sony cameras, because everything but the most expensive snoys have to drop to 12 bit lossy compressed raws to shoot faster than 10fps now. An actual downgrade from the A7III and A7RIII. Lol sony.
>THIS PROVES THE AF IS BAD!!!That video is also an autofocus test showing that old EF lenses do not keep up, probably because the motors/focusing units are an older design, and the mechanical parts have worn out over time. So they're really not a replacement for RF's missing parts. At least they're not as slow as A mount lenses right? An A mount lens trying to focus with the LA-EA5 has such a slow motor that even with native AF, the hit rate is closer to 20%, at a lower FPS.
