They already spent millions of USD on developing 3 excellent Zoom lenses for the DL 18-50, DL 24-85, DL 24-500.
And now they plan on scraping everything and throw those lenses in the garbage can?
Why not convert those superb lenses to the Nikon 1 cameras?
You have two super compact pancakes, with really fast aperture!!!!
And one respectably small zoom with amazing reach! And respectable aperture.
This is EXPENSIVE to develop that, just to trow their designs away.
Meanwhile the Nikon 1 owners are starving for good lens options.
Meanwhile Nikon management decided to clear the table, throw everything in the bin, and give nothing to the Nikon 1 users.
They are flaunting about with their money as if they are worthless resources. No wonder they just lost billions of yen.
