>>3498664>He is like the Jason Blaha of /p/Basically this. Every image I've seen him take (legitimately) has been mediocre at best, terrible at worst (when compared to his touted pro experience). Let's not forget he ones he clearly plagiarized (which was 100% verified) and tried to pass off as his own - one from a bike mag, another from a Russian model shoot. He runs his mouth A LOT with not so much to back it up. Not even talking about skill to back it up, I'm just talking about how many claims he flat out makes without evidence about fucking everything. His career, his past, groping models, magnetism, fucking phase theory - whatever.
Dude's just an endless amount of hot air.
>>3494339>/p/ is poor and mostly uses shit gearI crossed the $10k mark recently with 5 "money" (>$1k) lenses and a D850 in the collection now . But I stopped posting my pics about 2-3 years ago back when I was still using a used T5i and plastic nifty 50 because /p/'s just a demoralizing punchbox. I mostly lurk and browse now. I'm sure this will be dismissed as a whine or get the equivalent of "git gud", but it's just been my experience. I see plenty of good pics here that get bashed relentlessly.
There's little else out there that's made me want to stop shooting than sharing any of my pics here. Granted in the end, photos are more or less a personal journey for the 99% of people who own a camera but aren't making a living off of it. I don't take pics to make other people happy. Seeking validation and getting it is great, yeah, but looking for validation in a place like this seems like a bad idea.
