I strongly encourage you to try the "positive film" jpeg mode built into the camera. The in-camera raw processor has quite a few adjustable parameters, so you can turn off lense corrections and noise reduction etc. if you like, I found them very usable.
Also, try using SilkyPix. Really nice control over colour when editing a RAW file, including a lot of nice presets.
I don't like any of your photos.
