>>4165501that's caused by xtrans, nothing else. it's a broken by design CFA that eliminates moire by softening details. it's not possible to demosaic as accurately so the next best thing to generate from the raw data is blur rather than an attempt at a sharp detail (if you force this, it looks like a pile of worms)
fuji X* cameras regardless of the lens you put on them will ALWAYS be soft. fujifags will say "no its sharp", but just ask them for an example shit can't hold a candle to full frame cameras that actually are sharp. they are "sharp" if zoomed out.
well sure, for some people, there is nothing wrong with that - if you never, ever, EVER intend to crop, but i feel there is something wrong with paying normal ass camera prices for that. they want nearly $2k for some of those shitters. their lenses are around $300 or $500 each. you could buy micro four thirds and actually get slightly sharper photos than a 40mp fujifillm camera lmao. for less money. and get smaller everything. with better IBIS. and better video. and better ergonomics. and MORE, BETTER lenses. jesus fucking christ imagine managing to make APS-C worse than micro four thirds.
