For the moment I noticed that scanning with a dlsr, even if I can fill only 1/3 of the frame, doesn't produce terrible results, even if the resolution is way lower (at least I do have control on the whole process). It could be useful for personal shots. Image related, a test shot using a smartphone as backlight (just to check resolution)
Speaking of which, any decent light pad/table but still on a budget?
