I've been trying to get some more artistic 'super' macro images utilizing the bokeh potential of the f/1.8 on this lens. It is certainly not something that will work well with live subjects. After way too many photos, this was the only one that's half decent for color smears and bokeh. I'll need to play around with it much more. The wide open aperture results in really super soft focus and ultra thin dof. This is hard enough at only 2.63:1. The test shots at 7.16:1 seem almost impossible to stage just right.
