The prairie grasses are all this delightful golden/brown color that most people think looks like crap, but the light hue of it really catches sunrise/sunset colors for those brief few minutes. Pic related, taken a week or so ago.
As far as black and white, I bet we're coming up on two years since I've exposed a sheet of it to be honest. I've really been seeing in color lately and have enjoyed it quite a bit. I decided the holders I was carrying around with b&w would be better off if I just put more Portra in them. And with winter, it's really quite fun to take color photos that have almost no color in them.
