You can also use a non-macro tele zoom with an achromatic macro lens screwed on in front. Or an extender tube with any kind of lens.
What you also want is light. Bright suitably placed and diffused white led bulbs might do the job, but it tends to be more easy to work with a ring light and some panel lights (cheap yongnuo, cactus, neewer ... on cheap stands should do the job).
