lets talk about /p/ in the context of /mu/. on /mu/ anons discuss the music by great artists, bands and composers but on /p/ no one gives a shit about that and most of the posters have little to no knowledge or interest about the art history of this medium. on /mu/ anons listen to albums but on /p/ nobody gives a shit about photobooks and projects. on /mu/ anons discuss contemporary albums but on /p/ anons discuss latest cameras. on /mu/ anons celebrate the art aspect of music but on /p/ anons celebrate the camera specs and so on and so on.
this board carries the worst aspects of a photography forum. too much talk about lens, cameras, films, filters etc. but little to no talk about art.
