Well lads RIP to my eos 5, just fried the poor bastard. Was poking around to find a good place to pull alternate power line, to bypass the turbofaggot 2cr5 battery, and accidentally shorted the big flash caps. After a nice big firework, the thing is now basically dead. Comes on for a second with voltage but the goes into dead battery mode. Behavior makes me think other caps may have been blasted along the chain but honestly cba to trace it down. Goodnight sweet prince. It was only 25 bucks on eBay may just get a replacement desu, I liked this little thing and ef film shooting is wildly underrated (it just werks!). And whoever invented 2cr5 can roast in hell tbqhwy.
