>>3362668Here's another example of how the EM10 definitely has more false color noise (which can be trivially removed with even light high-pass filtering), but also has much better detail recovery and color reproduction than the D7000.
And again, the real advantages of the EM10 over the D7000 aren't even just IQ, it's the total package of advance image processing, 4K video, faster shutter, vastly superior IBIS vs. lens IS, a silent autofocus better for video recording, faster autofocus and just all around vastly superior autofocus altogether, much better lenses, etc etc etc.
You don't have a bad camera with the D7000. Just enjoy it. But don't pretend it's actually a better camera than any OMD after Mk. II.
>>3362673I mean it doesn't help me sleep better at night because I've never lost sleep over my cameras in the first place. I got my EM10 III for $420 new and my EM5 II for $500 with a 128GB memory card included. I bought all my lenses in bundles except the 25mm f.18 and they were less than $2000 altogether. The system I have is light, compact, portable, and produces outstanding IQ for what I shoot, which is mostly daytime scenes of landscapes, architecture, people in public, and portraits. I do sometimes shoot street at night and I've been completely happy with that performance too.
I don't know why you're so invested into this dispute?
