Got nothing in the gear thread so posting to a broader audience:
Does anyone have extensive experience with both the D750/7000/610 series' U1 and U2 modes as well as the alternative pro-level D800/500/5 series settings banks? All I've ever used is the U1 and U2 modes where literally every detail of a preferred setting combination can be instantly recalled anytime you switch the dial to that position. How difficult or annoying would it be to move to one of the pro bodies with the settings banks when you're used to U1 and U2? What I've read about it makes it seems like they're inferior and accidentally changeable. I regularly shoot sports/events, outdoor portraits, and studio strobe scenarios and it's super awesome to be able to go between those 3 effortlessly with U1, U2 and M modes.
Insight?
