>>3760344I just noticed this bad boy, has it ever given you unwanted attention? I've been considering getting a Fotosniper or a Novoflexar but I'm worried because it doesn't seem that one could safely operate one in a public space.
Admittedly I'm motivated by pure gearfag lust, I don't know how useful the stabilization they provide could be.
>>3760358>buuuuut by setting iso to fast ramp it always tries to keep the shutterspeed at 1/250th or above (1/60th for normal ramp and 1/30th for slow ramp...iirc)...this is moderated by focallenght somewhat but basically it automatically handles several preferences at once...and i dont care about ISO due to the small size of my images, and the fact that the K3 and K5 have very low noise high iso until you get above 6400.... plus of course i could alway set a lowish cap to the auto-range anyway. (i dont)That's pretty cool. I think Canon doesn't have that. Again I wouldn't have guessed DoF would be so complicated at those moderate focal lengths, mostly due to lack of experience. I just looked at a DoF calculator and damn, at 200mm you get a meager 40cm of depth for a subject at 9 meters on a crop camera at f/5.0 (roughly a composition like the one in your pic in

>>3760366>i could shoot in Tv, but then the aperture would end to shoot wider than I'd want, and theres a few fstops in particualr that end up softening the image a lot compared to those on either side...its weird really.Yeah I just did the math a bit and was amazed at the results. I predict the FF camera will be bothersome for me (on the other hand I can happily crank the iso a bit more).
>Or on the pentaxes in TAv mode Is that like P mode for the rest?
>even with a flash i prefer to use Av becasue its less blinding with high % power strobing every shotDoes M mode negate TTL on Pentax bodies?
