I'm this close to doxing myself so you could send me your films to scan to show you just how shit and removed from reality this process is.
I beg you go and find a deal on V600, it's shit in its own right as far as medium format scanners go but still infinitely better than what you're doing while not spending four or five figures on it (got mine for $200 new 3 years ago, looks like it nearly doubled in price since then for some fucking reason, but it's still the best entry point for scanning 120 at home).
