>>3595431What kind of night photography? Photos like that on moderately-lit night streets are easy even on slow film. ASA 50, 1/15, f/1.4 is LV 6 and easy to hand-hold. Of course shooting under moonlight will be harder, but you'll probably be using a tripod anyway. Also you'll run into reciprocity issues there as well.
This pic was shot handheld on Velvia 50. Not a great picture and not edited but shows the kind of light it's possible to shoot in.
So don't think you need fast film to shoot in low light (unless you're talking sports or action of course).
