>>3959578Fair enough, I thought that the colour response of the film would be sharper and that a colour contrast would show up more. The lady in the first picture had this bright shirt on and I thought that the contrast would be interesting. For the second picture, I liked the way that the poles in the centre divided the scene. The store also had this yellow signboard that I thought would be a nice highlight. For the third, to me, I like the contrast between the detail on the railway line and the subtle clouds in the sky. I kinda agree with you on the fourth one, but I felt that if I did what you did, there would be a bit too much going on inside the frame so I took the surroundings too to "stretch it out" a bit more.
>>3959581I think we have different motives for taking pictures. You seem to be looking for some sort of story, whereas I like the contrast between things. Thanks for the criticism though! I don't want to drive up the image limit of this thread too much, though.
