>>3624052I didn't really think about buying a used one, mainly because it first off never crossed my mind, and secondly because I'm slightly skeptical about much older gear, especially if it's being given away from free (it's a gamble, you know?). But, it is difficult to find people giving them away here, I was able to find a color enlarger with a bunch of darkroom equipment for 200 though where I'm at.
>>3624062If only if only.
>>3624064I suppose you're right. I was thinking about selling the body at one point but yeah, I probably will get the 90.

>>3624070Well you have to be a fucking idiot to believe that, each has their own unique properties that can push me to be a better photographer in all manners.
Being able to get a lens for my RZ enables me to use it and limits my shooting ability to 10 photos per roll, making me especially aware and even slightly picky on the photos I'm going to take and the composition, along with developing costs and scanning costs, it more than incentivizes me to take much better photos.
The X100T would enable me to carry around a smaller camera for longer and because it's digital, it allows me to take more photos. More photos & cameras that are easier to carry = more practice, and in turn over time, better photos (granted I don't get lazy).
The enlarger itself focuses on my B&W photography and composition itself, B&W being the pure essential of a good composition, and with the process of learning how to enlarge and darkroom develop photos, not only adds more sentimental and emotional value, but encourages me to take good photos to make even better prints.
Even then, it's not a guarantee. I'm not believing my photos will be magic if I get any of these, I just think it'll encourage me to shoot more and do better.
