I went in and had a closer look at them yesterday and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference between them on a tech level. 16mp is enough for A3 prints if I really need them (I'll keep my 24mp dslr for more serious work), and the weather-resistence doesn't even seem to be a massive feature if its only resistent not proof. The dials feel like they'll take some time getting familiar, since I'm used to changing everything short of WB via buttons and a single dial.
I'll probably hold out until September when the XT-2 is hopefully announced so that it drops the price a bit.
