Or motion picture which could be as little as ~22x9.5mm. That is referring to film format, not is a measurement sensor or image size, and is still not perimeter and won’t ever be perimeter. Sensor size is never referred to by perimeter. Again, FF is never called 120mm, MFT never called 60mm etc. Sensor size is always given in two dimensions, or a square measurement, eg 36x24 or 864mm^2.
