First off I apologize if this is the wrong board/thread for this
So I've had a Nikon Coolpix L830 since 2014, never used a tripod before, and had to get one for a class assignment, and ended up with this one:
However, I guess I screwed it in too tight, because after a few times the plastic interior of the socket where the tripod goes in just broke apart. Tried putting blu-tack in there hoping it would mold and stay in place, to no avail. (Ended up finishing the assignment by attaching it with tape and rubber bands, kek)
So far I've only found one seller for a replacement mount, here:
