>>3405672From my experience with 35mm film, the very best color films like Provia and Velvia can produce up to ~15-20 MP equivalent of a modern camera with a thin AA filter, thus a 4x5 sheet of the same film should top out at ~200-300 MP; but given that even slight diffraction/imperfections of the lens/focus/development/scanning would impact the result way more than they would for a small format, I highly doubt these figures are reachable in practice.
You can get crazy numbers if you just multiply the dimensions by the rated resolution in lp/mm (102 mm * 150 lp/mm *2 * 127 mm * 150 lp/mm * 2 = 1.2 GIGAPIXELS HOO BOY!), but that's impossible to reach in real life because the lp/mm value is given for a 1000:1 test chart with no diffraction, and you can't just equate one line pair to two pixels.
